The inspiration for our Founder and CEO, Dr. Na’Tasha Evans to start Always Inspired Health Care was her grandmother’s love. As a child, Dr. Na’Tasha Evans’ grandmother always spoke of her private duty nursing days. Her stories deeply inspired Dr. Evans to dream of working in the health care industry. Her grandmother’s stories also influenced her desire to give back through neighborhood clinics, specifically mobile health clinics designed to serve vulnerable populations. However, as an adult, Dr. Evans soon realized that opening a clinic was expensive so she pursued other endeavors as she positioned herself to follow her passion.

In the last few years of her grandmother’s life, she required assistance from Home Health Agencies to ensure she would receive adequate care. Dr. Evans’ family hired several Home Health Agencies, who left the family feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and exhausted. So, Dr. Evans began to ask questions to understand why the quality of care was so subpar and what changes needed to be made to improve care.

Dr. Evans would sit with her grandmother to discuss her experience with each caregiver, and she began to understand how her grandmother felt. Suddenly, Dr. Evans realized that she could affect change in this space, and she went to work building the type of Home Health Agency her grandmother wanted, needed, and deserved. Although her grandmother has since passed, Always Inspired Health Care continues to operate with the same spirit of service, advocacy, love, and compassion that Dr. Evans’ grandmother inspired in her.
